Re-restart Day 2
Breakfast is a very exciting combination of turkey and beef with guac and a banana.

Crap. Two days into my restart and I already stopped updating. I could choose to beat myself up for this, or just get on with things. I’m choosing the latter.
Today, I weighed 178, which is 1.5 lbs heavier than last week. I had a good week exercising, but my diet wasn’t ideal. I did two days of light weights, and 3 days of running using a 5K training app. I am not working out today, because my right knee hurts, and I don’t want to cause more injury.
For breakfast today, I had an omelet with two eggs, some onion, a small tomato, and some asparagus. That is how to re-restart on a Sunday morning.

For lunch, I had a peppercorn burger with guac and corn salad (thanks Whole Foods).

Dinner was a tall, cool smoothie with mango, berries of many kinds, pineapple, banana, greek yogurt and milk.

Day 2 of my restart, and so far, so good. Solid meals and a good workout of light weight lifting.

Lunch was leftovers - more meatballs and corn salad. I topped the corn with guacamole, because almost everything is better with guac.

And for dinner, I steamed a bunch of cauliflower, broccoli and red onion. Tossed with some garlic and olive oil. I had a few slices of turkey too, but no picture because I was hungry and impatient.

The countdown to Kiawah is on, and I feel flabby. As of today, my weight is 176.5. I don’t necessarily need to lose weight, but I want to be more firm. So…I am rebooting my diet and fitness regimen. (Yes, again.) I have done one week of alternating light weights with a 5K training app. Since I’ve done 30-day experiments in the past, I’m going to make this one 60 days.
